This is to officially announce and open the call for application for 4 EuroELSO Steering Committee Member positions.

The positions available for the Steering Committee will account for the 2022 – 2025 period. One position has to be taken by a perfusionist, the others are open to physicians and nurses.

In addition, we call for applications for 3 EuroELSO Scientific Committee Member positions.

The Scientific Committee advices the Steering Committee and is strongly involved in the preparation of the scientific program of the annual congress and other scientific activities of EuroELSO.
Those positions account for the 2022 – 2026 period and should preferably include a nurse, a perfusionist and a pediatrician.

The applicants for these positions must submit

      •  their expression of interest with a personal letter,
      •  a brief proposal about their main actions with ECMO and their scientific interests and achievements in the field of extracorporeal support
      •  a short CV focusing on ECLS / ECMO activities.

The candidates have to be either an individual member of ELSO or a member of an ELSO Center within Europe or Israel. He or she must not be employed by or be in close financial relation with industry.

The application should be submitted to (euroelso@interplan.de) by August 31, 2021.

All applications will be evaluated by the Council and selected candidates will be informed by the end of October 2021 and announced at the upcoming EuroELSO conference 2022 in London.
